Blacktop Driver accounts are created by the motor carrier you drive for. You can ask to delete your account at any time. The carrier confirms the request, usually within a few days and no later than 30 days.
In the app
Open Blacktop Driver → Profile → Delete account → Request account deletion. Until the carrier confirms, you can withdraw the request there.
Without the app
Enter the phone number you sign in with. We send the request to every carrier where that number has an account.
What is deleted
- Your sign-in to Blacktop Driver on every phone.
- Push notification tokens and Load alerts settings.
- Your profile photo, sign-in codes and sign-in attempts.
What is kept
- Trips, load documents, bids, payments and the truck locations recorded during trips. They are the carrier’s business records, and the law requires them to be kept.
- Your HR file with the carrier. Ask the carrier directly to remove it.
